About Us

Mission Statement:
"The purpose of the mindfulness club is to give students a safe and quiet space to practice being present in their daily lives. Life is a beautiful gift, and often we forget to appreciate it. Through quiet contemplation and practice, one aim of mindfulness club is the space in which to remember to appreciate the air we breathe, our hearts that beat, and the gift of this precious human life. Through practice, we as a community can discipline our minds and bodies so that we can better cope with the daily stresses, and better cherish the ever present wonder of each and every day."
